Radar level sensor antenna can transmit very narrow microwave pulses, this pulse to the speed of light propagation in space, encountered by the measured medium surface, part of its energy is reflected back to the same antenna to receive. The time interval between the transmitted and received pulses is proportional to the distance from the antenna to the surface of the measured medium. The radar wave travels at the speed of light, and the travel time can be converted into a water level signal by means of electronic components. A special time-stretching method ensures stable and precise measurements over very short periods of time. The water level telemetry terminal is then used to collect and transmit the radar signal to complete the monitoring of the water level.
